Bruthas Escape is a four-day Black gay getaway set on the vibrant island of Gran Canaria, a takeover made for us, by us. From the moment you arrive, it’s heat, energy and connection: sun-kissed days with poolside link-ups and Afro-inspired beats, electric nights with curated events that centre Black queer joy, and a community that feels like home, no matter where you’ve flown in from. This is not a pride trip: it’s a bold, unapologetic celebration of Black masculinity, freedom and presence in a space that’s ours alone.
