The Butch Queen’s Brunch Tour

The Freelux Project’s Butch Queen’s Brunch Tour (powered by Gilead Sciences) is a multi-city cultural and community engagement experience that centers Black queer and same-gender-loving men through intentional conversation, connection, and celebration. Inspired by the rich legacy of Black Queer community culture this brunch tour reimagines what it means to gather, heal, and thrive together.

Blending curated dialogue with elevated brunch experiences, the tour creates a safe, affirming spaces where attendees can engage in real conversations around sexual health, HIV prevention, mental wellness, relationships, and community care. Each stop brings together local leaders, storytellers, and community voices to foster authenticity, vulnerability, and empowerment while celebrating the brilliance, resilience, and joy of the community.

Through signature elements like community storytelling, culturally relevant programming, and initiatives like “The Freelux Access Initiative” (testing for tickets), the Butch Queen’s Brunch Tour transforms brunch into a movement—one that prioritizes access, visibility, and collective impact.
